City of Tyler Fire Station No. 4

Fire Station No. 4 is located in South Tyler near growing residential and shopping areas. The new station includes three engine bays with two being pull-through bays, dayroom with kitchen and dining facilities, separate food pantries per shift, sleep room pods with individual bedrooms, locker rooms with showers for both male and female firefighters, a workout room, and a large lobby area that can be utilized for staff training. Both the dayroom and workout room have access to a large outdoor patio. The apparatus bay has a state-of-the-art exhaust system with separate space for firefighter gear and cleaning equipment such as extractors to remove pollutants from firefighters' gear. Daylighting and lighting controls offer environmental comfort to station staff.
